Copyediting / Line Editing: Focuses, line-by-line, on flow, grammar, word choices, and sentence structure. Fact-checking is also handled. Does not include developmental editing.

Proofreading: Focuses on examining the text carefully to find and correct typographical errors and mistakes in grammar, style, and spelling. Does not include developmental or line editing.
